The VA-508C Vibration Option Kit includes all the accessories needed to obtain vibration measurements from any Advanced Series Sound Level Meter.

The included VI-90 Vibration Integrator buffers and converts the signal of the accelerometer in order to measure the three components of vibration - displacement, velocity and acceleration.

A slide switch on the VI-90 determines which component of vibration is being measured and displayed.

The conversion chart allows you to convert readings in dB on the sound level meter to displacement (meters RMS), velocity (meters/second RMS) or acceleration (g’s RMS).

For even more in depth studies, vibration measurements can be taken with full or 1/3 octave band filters if the meter is so equipped.
